if i try to install the same printer through out TS, there a message which shows up and asks me to install the printer driver.

also it says that i dont have sufficient rights to do that. as a normal user, i should ans must be able to install any printer.

Normal users cannot and should not install printer drivers on a Terminal Server.
Most 3rd party printer drivers are not TS-compatible, and such drivers are the number 1 cause for problems with Terminal Servers. They often crash the print spooler, or even the whole server. And then it's not only you who is affected, but all users.

Even Administrators should think twice before installing a printer driver other than those which come with the base Operating System.

What you should do is talk to the Administrator of the Terminal Server, mention your need to redirect your local printer, and tell them which make and modell it is. Maybe there's a TS-compatible driver for it, and then the Administrator can install it for you.

Note that All-in-One printers and such are *not* supported in a Terminal Server.

but how do i get rid of the message to install the driver each time i want to install a new printer on a client?

would you choose the original drivers from the vendor or the MS ones?

Every printer needs a driver. Windows comes with a number of drivers already on your system, so if you install such a printer, Windows can find the driver itself and never asks you.
If you install a printer which driver is not part of the base Windows installation, you have to provide the driver and install it.

If there's a built-in driver and one from the vendor, I would always use the built-in driver on a Terminal Server, but maybe the vendors driver on a PC. Depends on the printer model, the vendor, and if the versions of those 2 drivers are very far apart.
