I am trying to set up Quickbooks 2007 Accounting Edition to use over
Terminal Services. When i login as the client I get this error message
-

To start or stop hosting multi-user access to company files, you must
be logged into windows as a user who has administrator
privileges. Please log in using an administrator account and then try
again. For more information, refer to the help for microsoft windows.

If the problem persists, contact Intuit Technical Support and provide
them the folloing error codes: (-6098,0).

Is there a way to avoid giving admin rights to the user?

I have followed the setup instuctions on: http://ts.veranoest.net/ts_apps_qb.htm

This works for another client using QB 2006 Accounting Edition.

Thanks - Christ

It is not clear from your query if Quickbooks 2007 imposes functionality
that requires administrative privileges or if there is a difference between
the two clients (or servers) on which you are trying to run Quickbooks 2007.

It is possible that either the software requires privileges to host files or
is conflicting with your group policies.
