We want to sync Windows Mobile devices to Outlook 2007 while connected to the
Terminal Services server via a Remote Desktop session.

Is this possible? How?

Can you make Activesync "see" the attached WIndows Mobile device connected
to the Local PC USB port?

I don't know about how to make the local USB be seen in TS, but this
is what i setup for one of my clients

They have a windows CE thin client machines (local and over a VPN)
that connect to the TS, i was unable to find anyway to make these work
with a palm/blackberry/windows mobile.

What we did is install a blackberry entreprise server that connect to
thier exchange server. BES does all the syncing over the cellular
network for emails, contacts and calender. the only little hickup we
have is that the blackberry phone needs to be synced initially via
USB to a PC that is logged in with thier usernname and outlook profile
to that the BES can link up the phones PIN to the user's email boxes
on the exchange.

BES is a software that you can run on a seperate server or even on
your exchange server. there used to be a free 1 user downloadable
version, and can be bought for a little as 5 users. you can buy it
directly from Blackberry.com or sometime you can get your cellular
company to supply it. we got ours free because we bought enought phone
and signed a contract for the phones

versions exist for Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes and Novell
