Post subject: TS And HP LaserJet P1505 Printer - Redirection Does Not Work

When connecting to a Windows Terminal Server using Remote Desktop Connection
with printer redirection checked on, HP LaserJet P1505 printers do not work.

I made sure the drivers on the Terminal Server and on the Local PCs were the
extact same version number.

I called HP Support. They told me this is known issue with TS and the
LaserJet P1505. The support tech told me it was well documented in the
support data base.

Their recommended solution is to install the driver for the HP LaseJet 6L.

I installed the drvers for the Hp LaserJet 6L and then installed the printer.

It failed.

We finally gave up and purhcased four HP LaerJet 1022 printers because we
know this printer works in Terminal Services.
