Post subject: Simple - or complex question
Archived from groups: alt>os>citrix (more info?)

My work computer is part of a very large network using Citrix. My particular
office just moved - leaving a partial T! line and getting service about 10
times faster (per the IT person). Prior to moving I was able to copy files
from the network to a jump drive. Since then - I can't - it takes an
inordinate amount of time to copy a small file. If I try to move a 14843 kb
pdf file the dialog box says it will take 9 minutes (much slower than
before) and it actually takes longer.

I also can't copy to the C drive (I tried thinking it would be faster to
do - but it was not).

I have no idea what version of Citrix , etc. So - this may be an impossible
question to answer. I am hoping for some argument to go to the IT dept and
say this is too slow. We usually get the answer - can't do anything about it
(which I think is a dumb answer).

Thanks for any ideas.
