Post subject: Roaming profiles are not getting unloaded from Terminalserv
Hello,

I am facing an issue with Terminal Services. I got roaming profile user for terminal server and configured the policy to delete roaming profiles while logging off. This was working till last week. I found that the C drive space on the servers are getting reduced and noticed that the old user profiles are not getting cleared.

Any troubleshooting advices will be greatly appreciated

It could be due to profiles not getting unloaded properly and getting locked.

Do you have the User Profile Hive Cleanup service installed (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1B286E6D-8912-4E18-B570-42470E2F3582&displaylang=en&Hash=3PKGHL8) - this could help solve your problem.

Also check the EventLog on your server for any warnings or errors related to profile load and unload problems. There can be many reasons why profiles don't (un)load correctly.
