Post subject: Print to File Option in TS
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>termserv>clients (more info?)

The accountant is TS'ing into a Win2k3 server to run Microsoft Navision. The
200-page reports aren't practical to print to paper and printing to file
(PFD) is the preference. However, as it is, the file gets stored on the TS
box. Is there a way to redirect the print-to-file result back to the client
machine the same way regular print jobs are redirected to the default printer?

I have tested this out with only mixed results: I set Adobe, MS Image
Writer, or MS XPS Document writer (yes I have tried a few methods) as the
default printer on my local machine and it does show up as the default
printer when loging into the remote machine. However, when I print to it,
the Save As prompt only gives me options local to the remote machine.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
