Hello,

Our problem doesn't appear when we are working with in a Citrix session, but
does appear when whe work with RDP or directly on the server console. But
maybe someone can tell me what the difference is between a citrix session
and a rdp session, to narrow my search for a solution.

A few days ago we had some major memory problems with our citrix servers.
Probably because of some memory management misconfiguration (both Citrix
memory optimization and Res Powerfuse memory shield were used
simultaneously. We turned off citrix memory optimization and Citrix CPU
utilization managent and then those problems went away). After that problem
was solved somehow we are left with this current problem. When we maximize
an application windows in a rdp session or on console the windows takes only
a small part at the bottom of our desktop. When we use a display resolution
of 1028x768 the window even is not vissible, it appears to be below the
desktop. It doesn't depend on the specific application we start. It works
this way for all applications.
If we use an ICA session we don't have this problem. Maximizing windows does
maximize the window.

Both terminal servers have these problem. Because all the users uses an ICA
client, the problem is not realy urgent, but i'm wondering what causes this.
We use Windows 2003 R2 SP2 with Citrix Presentation Server 4.5

RDP connection is part of Windows. It has nothing (or little) to do with
Citrix.
