Post subject: Manage Redirected Printers

Hi,

We have a Windows 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services Environment setup for our branch staff. We are not using Easy Print as users have complained that it has slowed the printing process drastically. I have installed the required printer drivers and users can use their redirected printers.

The problem we are having is users printer settings are not redirected properly and not all installed functionality are activated. e.g double sided printing, staple, color etc.. If i manually activate the required settings for individual users and printers than these settings are lost once the user logs off.

Am i missing anything here. Is there a better way to do this. I am happy to give users full manage rights on their respective printers but even that setting is lost once the user logs off.

Has anyone faced this issue?
