Post subject: Load Balancing Software

Hi All,

I have been trialing different load balancing software for my 5 terminal servers...

I am trying to get a copy of Clusteresis RDPLB (RDP Load Balancer). The website is no longer available, does anyone have a copy they could send me???

Thanks in advance.

Cheers John.

I thought I would provide an update as people seem interested...

Clusteresis RDPLB is free up to 10 users, then requires a licence. It not only load balances, but you can also publish applications (not seamless, still has the full rdp window), and it also has a web interface for the RDP plugin. Overall not a bad product a bit out of date, and after searching forever and a day I found a copy, however it didn’t really suit my needs (due to the 10 user limit).

If your looking for a commercial application try out the load balancer from 2X (www.2x.com), it is really quite good. You can download a trial to test it yourself.

If your looking for the cheapest solution (as many people are) have a look at the website: www.ctrl-alt-del.com.au you will want the TSLoadBal utility. Personally I found this a fantastic little app, it works great, 100% freeware and the creator Warren Simondson is a good bloke.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

JOHN
