Post subject: Granting access to Registry Keys for Terminal Services Users

Good day,

This may be a simplistic question (and hoping so), but a piece of software that is installed on my Windows 2003 (SP2) Terminal Server requires that users be granted asscess to a section of the registry; specifically HKey_Current_User\Software\Paperwise. As well, HKey_Local_Machine\SoftwarePaperwise\Registry|LocalMachineOnly set to "False". What is the accepted process of granting access to this registry key as well as the required setting on my terminal server?

TIA

- Joe

You can set the HKLM setting on the TS as Administrator.
The HKCU registry key is part of the user profile. Normally, users have already access to HKCU. What are the current permissions on the key and what permissions are needed?

And was the TS in install mode during installation of the software?
