Post subject: Gotowebinar Recording and Converting problems
Archived from groups: alt>os>citrix (more info?)

Guys,

I am not sure if anyone here familiar with the Gotowebinar
service...one of my users use it for online training and record every
lesson...first of all the convert to wmv process take almost 4-5 hrs
to complete for a 1 hr recording...I know that the convert will
consume a lot of CPU.. but I am not sure if that's normal...then when
the wmv file created...some of them only included 10-20 minutes even
the actual length is 1 hr....some are fine...we called their tech
support and they said it was all the fault of Vista....then I changed
all GOTO related exe to the Windows XP SP2 compatibility
mode...updated the Java runtime to the latest version, also downloaded
the G2M2 codec that required by the gotowebinar thing, tested, still
intermmitent...any one has any advice on this issue?

Thanks

Ben
