Post subject: Application Resources

Has anyone come across a problem with users running out of resources on terminal servers with RDP.

I have two servers with 7GB RAM in each running 2003. Users then have access to outlook, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Basically, after a while excel may not open or Adober reader will ignore double clicks on the application or double clicking a pdf file.

If the user logs off and back on again it all seems fine.

I can only assume that there is a resource issue somewhere but can not figure out how to tell terminal server to allocate more resources?

Hope you can assist

Tony

Do the users get any error messages?
Are there any warnings or errors in the EventLog on the server?
