Post subject: ts virtual print port failure to autocreate
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>termserv>clients (more info?)

Hi- I have a client that installed some bad print drivers into their 2003
terminal server. (spooler crashes, print failures). I uninstalled them and
then ran MS' spooler cleaner. Now, problem is that while I can see that the
client printer is detected on server because drivers are added, no virtual
printer port is autocreated (no TS00x...). My test client uses known good
laserjet4 drivers that work in other TS sessions on other machines. How can
I troubleshoot/repair the autocreation of these ts00x ports? Something in
the registry that I can paste in? Thanks! Michael
