Post subject: ctx 4.0 perfs
Archived from groups: alt>os>citrix (more info?)

hi,

some users told me about poor perfs with winterms Wyse.
I tried and it was horrible... slooooooowwwwww... very slow...
i saw part of screen appairs one by one...
i tried the Wyse conected directly to the local switch = same problem.
i tried it connected to the switch below my cisco's 3750 stack = same
problem...
i tried a Neoware = same problem...
i finally tried a RDP connection to the same server and it was
quiiiiiiick !!!
i reboot citrix server and it was less slow, but always slower than rdp...
All farm is ctx 4.0 and win 2003 sp2. No network problem, no perfs
problem on servers (no swap, no high cpu ).
No recent windows update. I don't understand why ctx clients became
slow, i use to see that ica was better then rdp...

any idea ?

TIA

Pat
