I realize that my issue is related to unsupported applications, but I hope
that somebody can help anyway.
A Terminal Server is based on Windows Server 2003 and users access it via
WAN.
Remote users report that all the applications provide acceptable response
time except Word 97 (!) macros.
The same users report that sometimes they connect to the TS and get
acceptable response times with Word 97 macros and other times they connect
to the same TS and get very slow response times.
If a session starts with a good/bad response time the response time remains
the same for all the session.
Is there anything I can check to investigate and, maybe, solve the problem?
Suggestions, pointers and hints welcome...
Mario

I don't understand they have slow response times with application or
with whole terminal session?

Try to monitor processor time, maybe user when run macro takes all CPU
time. How much that macro runs?
As I understand they have normal response time when they are working
anything else instead of word macros?

Thank you for your message.
They have slow response with the whole sessions but mainly with the Word
macro based application.
Any suggestion?
Regards
Mario
