I have a very hard to solve problem right now, thanks to a poorly designed application running in our environment.

The application is only able to print to network devices created in the format "\\computername\printer".

This is causing us a nightmare with TS 2008 as TS applications won't see these remote network printers in the format described above. TS applications can see all the networked printers at our headquarters but can't see the remote office network printers using that sharing name and the software won't accept printing to local ports or to redirected windows printers like any other decent application.

If anyone has an idea or knows a 3rd party utility that could be used in this situation, I'll be very thankful.
