Post subject: Printer Settings not staying in Windows 2000 Terminal Server
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>termserv>clients (more info?)

This is a recent occurance. we have a windows 2000 server sp4 that is
running TS. Well up until about 2 weeks ago printing was working fine.
Users could have what ever default printer they want whether it be
their defaulted Redirect printer on their workstations or it be a
shared printer on the terminal server. Now either those who use the
redirected printers will have the correct default printer or those who
use the shared printer on TS will work, it's not both anymore. I have
changed the settings in the RDP client from usings the clients
settings to not using default to clients main printer. and i can't
seem to get anything to work. any suggestions?

Jason
