Post subject: IP Logging and Session Disconnects

Hey there,

I apologize if these questions have been asked before (as I am sure they have) - I haven't been able to find anything in my searches on these.

First, I'd like to know if there is any way to log the IP address of a user connecting to the terminal services environment. This would allow for determining which IP addresses should be blocked on a firewall (ex employees) and ISP identification for troubleshooting with connectivity issues.

Secondly, we are running Server 2003, and are receiving multiple complaints from users that their sessions are being killed after disconnecting for 5, 10, 60 minutes, etc. In practice, I have noted this on a few occasions. I'll connect, open a few applications, leave my session logged on but disconnect, and upon reconnecting 10 minutes later, the programs are no longer open (session killed). Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks
