Post subject: IE7 GPO settings

Can someone point me to a good reference to learn where all the IE7 settings are in the GPO?? I am going batty Shocked looking thru the settings trying to find silly stuff:
- how do I make the home page pop up in full screen mode, taking up the whole RDC window?
- Where do I specify trusted sites for everyone that uses IE7 on my terminal server? (I had found this one before and can not seem to get back to it) (prompted by the IE Enhanced Security config)
- Where do I disable IE7 from telling me the IE ESC is configured on this system, check this box to not show this message??
- Heck, do I even need the enhanced security? This is just accessing a website on my intranet and nothing else??

Sorry for all the GPO 101 questions. TIA for the help!!

(Computer\User)>Admin Templates>Windows Components>Internet Explorer>Enforce Full Screen Mode

Computer>Windows Settings>Internet Explorer Maintenance>Security Zones & Content

User>Windows Settings>Internet Explorer Maintenance>Turn off the Security Settings Check feature
(I also turn off managing Phishing Filter and just set it to automatic).

As for do you need it (enhanced security)...can't help you decide that one; however, I don't allow anyone out on the Internet via our Terminal Service so I just go in to Add/Remove Programs and remove the Enhanced Security anyway....that's me though.

I have this enabled but in this case, full screen mode means "Nav, Com, and Menu bars will not be visible" and not "maximize the IE window".

Thanks for the other tips, they were spot on!!

Ahhh...Well welcome for the other tips

Not quite sure whatcha want. Assumed full screen like I posted.
If you just want the IE App to run maximized...hmm not sure if there's a GPO for that; however, you can go to the terminal server, remove the IE shortcut from the desktop, go to start>programs> right click the IE shortcut go to properties and tell it to start maximized then copy that shortcut to the desktop. Ya can place the shortcut in the startup folder for all users, or tell the RDC to start IE upon connection.

If your asking for the app to be the only window, do a quick search for kiosk mode (think there's actually a post by you where Vera Noest states that too). If you don't want the taskbar to even show. I think there's a reg hack; however, I've never had any luck with it.
