Citrix Engineer, Seattle, Contract to Hire
Our client is seeking a Sr. Citrix Engineer to join their Citrix team.
The ideal candidate is passionate and driven about technology –
especially Citrix. The ideal candidate is currently the go-to person
on their team for anything Citrix.
The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:
o Provide technical "thought leadership"; technical "go-to" team
member. Act as an authority on Citrix products and technologies
o Install, configure, patch, upgrade, maintain and managing Citrix
servers
o Plan and coordinate the support and implementation of the Citrix
products
o Solve issues related to the deployment Citrix software
o Effectively analyze, resolve and document project issues with
minimal oversight from senior management (i.e. accountable for owning
and resolving issues)
o Accountable and responsible for identifying and (when possible)
removing roadblocks on assigned projects
o Effectively multi-task between initiatives and consistently produce
quality deliverables requiring minimal QA from peers/supervisors
o Keep current on relevant technologies for MS and Citrix products/
technologies
o Proactively identify opportunities for coaching/mentoring, and act
upon those opportunities in a timely fashion

Requirements:
Position requires a Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience and
knowledge of system architecture. Position also requires a positive
team-oriented attitude, and at least 3 years of experience with Citrix
and/or Microsoft products and technologies (preferably in an
Enterprise environment), network administration, design, or
troubleshooting. CCA Certification is required along with at least one
or more relevant technical certifications such as MCSE, CCEA, CCIA, or
Cisco.
